Drew Allison Carey was born May 23, 1958 is an American actor, comedian, photographer, and game show host. Carey has appeared in several movies, TV shows, music videos, a tailor-made for TV movies and video games. He is interested in a wide range of sports, has worked as a photographer at the U.S. National Team soccer matches, and is a minority owner of the Major League Soccer team Seattle Sounders FC.
Drew Carey was the youngest of Lewis and Beulah Carey three sons and raised in Parma, Ohio. When he was eight years old, his father died of a brain tumor. Carey worked as a stand-up comedian in 1991 when he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
Carey had a small role in the movie Coneheads as a taxi passenger. When it comes to his attention on TV, in 1994, Carey co-starred with John Caponera in The Good Life, a short-lived TV series that aired on NBC. Carey made an appearance in the House Party expansion pack to the computer game The Sims.
